TUCKAHOE – A fire late Monday night substantially damaged a Tuckahoe day care center on Bronx Street, leaving workers to find other centers to take in children before the holidays.Fire and water damaged a classroom and two of the offices, a center employee said. The remaining building was affected by smoke.
