PLEASANTVILLE – Opponents of a $37 million renovation plan for the Pleasantville school district vowed yesterday to keep fighting despite the state Education Department’s rejection of their challenge.
Education Commissioner Richard Mills ruled in favor of the district and dismissed an appeal for a $37.25 million borrowing plan to expand and renovate Pleasantville High School.
The funds would be used to make electrical, boiler and roof improvements, as well as create offices, add 12 classrooms and renovate existing space.
